My bowl is most likely sitting on a shelf waiting to be fired. The studio is closed for the next couple of weeks therefore I'm going to wait patiently to glaze it...still taking suggestions by the way!
In the mean time, check out these glasses my mom CAROL has painted. Beautiful 16 oz stemless glasses! I love them!
She started by making basic free flowing lines for the branches of the cherry blossom trees.
We placed a white cloth inside the glass so you can see the designs.
Then, she began dotting or stamping her brush on the glass to make the flowers.
Here's a second picture of the blossoms close up with added detail. The picture is a bit dark but you get the idea!
She finished it off by painting around the base of the glass. This finishes the piece so nicely. Simple, yet so beautiful! These are for sale on our website. www.StellasArtGallery.com
Stella’s Art, Inc. began as a family of artists influenced by my grandmother whom was a painter, sculptor, and seamstress. Today, Stella's Art Gallery supports local artists from Northeast Ohio. You may see artwork, shop, scheduled classes/workshops, learn about our events, rentals, and read about our inspirations here and on our website http://www.StellasArtGallery.com
