******Call for ARTISTS********

Dear Artist,

Here is an excellent way to celebrate SUMMER and support the ARTS! The Downtown Painesville Organization is hosting their first annual event called First Fridays. This event has been created to celebrate beautiful art, fabulous food, and soothing jazz music all along Main Street.  

First Fridays will be held June 5^th, July 3^rd, August 7^th, September 4^th, and October 2^nd from 4:30-8:30.  November 17^th will be our annual Holiday Stroll.

Eligibility

If you are a fine artist or crafts person that would like to bring the Arts to the Painesville community, this event is for you! We ask that you be the sole originator of your artwork, that the work be recent, and handmade.

Application Process

Prospective artisans must return a completed application along with 5 JPEG photographs of their work. Applications without photographs will not be considered. If you have a special display for your work (i.e. jewelry case, pedestal, electricity, etc.) please include that information in your application. If you have photos of your display, please submit those with your application as well.

You may scan and return this application with your 5 photos to StellasArts@gmail.com. Your application will be juried by Stella’s Art Inc. Board of Representatives. If your application is accepted, we will notify you by email no later than May 8^th.

To be a participant in First Fridays you do not need to attend each month, but it is highly recommended. If you commit to each month as a bonus, November will be free. Otherwise it is a $20 charge for an approximate 8” by 10” space.
